The Craft Of Leather

Artisan Leather Workshop
Montreal, Canada

There is something deeply satisfying about creating an object that will last for decades. Leathercraft is one of the oldest working crafts in the world — a discipline where patience, precision, and the touch of human hands transform raw material into something enduring.

In Montréal, a city known for its vibrant maker culture and creative studios, leathercraft continues to thrive among artisans who blend traditional techniques with modern design. This journey invites participants into that world.

Over several immersive days, participants learn directly from professional leather artisans — first in an introductory maker studio and then in an intensive workshop at a dedicated leathercraft academy.

Cutting. Stitching. Shaping. Watching an idea take form in your hands.

By the end of the journey, participants leave not only with new skills, but with handcrafted leather pieces they’ve created themselves — something tangible that carries the memory of the experience long after the journey ends.
