Sailors arrive from across the globe to compete in the legendary Cowes Regatta—an event where seasoned professionals, Olympic sailors, and passionate amateurs race side-by-side in the same historic waters.
This journey invites participants to move beyond the shoreline and into that tradition.
Over the course of eleven days, participants train alongside experienced instructors, learning the craft of performance sailing before stepping aboard Unfinished Journeys’ privately chartered racing yacht to compete in the Cowes Regatta itself.

The Experience
Learning the Craft
The journey begins with five days of professional sailing instruction, designed to prepare participants for real regatta competition.
Training takes place both onshore and on the water, where experienced instructors guide participants through the fundamentals of performance sailing—boat handling, sail trim, tactical awareness, and crew coordination.
Participants learn not as spectators, but as sailors.
Days are spent building confidence and skill while developing the rhythm between wind, vessel, and crew.
The women you arrive with quickly become the crew you rely on.
Racing the Regatta
As training progresses, the focus shifts toward competition.
Participants board Unfinished Journeys’ chartered racing yacht, entered as an official competitor in the Cowes Regatta. A professional skipper and first mate guide the vessel, but the work of sailing belongs to the crew.
And the crew is you.
Your fellow travelers—women you have trained beside for days—become the team working together on deck.
