Light & Landscape is designed around that rhythm — a journey that teaches participants how to work with changing conditions, read a landscape, and capture images shaped by timing, patience, and perspective.

Seeing the Landscape
Participants learn how to interpret a scene — understanding how terrain, scale, and natural elements shape composition across the Azores’ diverse environments.
Working with Light
Participants work with rapidly changing natural light — from fog to full sun — learning how to anticipate and adapt in real time.
Field Photography Sessions
Daily guided shoots across the islands focus on:
• composition and framing
• exposure and depth
• perspective and movement
• storytelling through travel imagery
Editing & Refinement
Participants refine their images through editing techniques that enhance tone, contrast, and mood while maintaining a natural aesthetic.
Life in the Azores
The experience is balanced with time to move through the islands — quiet roads, coastal views, and landscapes that invite both observation and stillness.
